Orientation & Potluck - Level 1

Come and get oriented in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment! You will be greeted by friendly core members and other sex-positives who will answer your questions and make you feel at home.

Attending an orientation is a requirement before you can go to other Sex Positive events; but it's also a great way to get to know your community, make connections and friends, and (bonus!) it's a really great time. Take a minute to read the reviews we get about the orientation!! There is a reason people keep coming back to them, time and time again. Existing members? Please come and help welcome the newbies!

NTC Libery Station, National Comedy Theater Training Center, Building 176

2590 Truxton Road, Suite 203, San Diego, CA 92106

Additional Location Information:

The training center is in building 176 on the corner of Roosevelt and Truxton. We are located on the second level in suite 203.  For some reason, Google Maps doesn't work properly, for this location, so trust the street signs. We are directly across Roosevelt from the parking lot with the shopping center.

Evening Schedule:

6:30 Arrive and mingle

6:45 Orientation with Q&A (come with questions)

7:30 Potluck (bring a dish to share OR a NON-Alcoholic beverage)

8:00 Social Lubrication Games (L2)

9:00 Closing Circle

About Orientation:

Orientation is required in order to attend events sponsored by Sex Positive SD. Learn about the sex-positive movement, the mission of the group, how Meetup works, boundaries, confidentiality, and more. There will be a Q&A, plus a chance for us to learn about you and what you want to get out of the group, and what you might wish to bring to it. Please spend time reading the pages before coming to Orientation.

About the Social Lubrication Games:

These are g-rated activities that help people loosen up and enjoy themselves. You will always have a choice about participation.

About the Potluck: Our members always bring the best food!!

What to bring?

~ A healthy dish to share - Entrees and savory dishes appreciated. No junk food please. Disposable containers are recommended.

~ A non-alcoholic beverage of your choice

~ $10 cash to cover the venue costs.

How to dress? Street legal, as we will be meeting in a local community area. Feel comfortable, but good grooming and hygiene is important to us. We appreciate when you take the time to look your best.

Before you RSVP, please read our Attendance Policy and other documents in Pages section (on the menu bar) or at these link
