Orientation & Potluck - Level 1
Come learn about our group in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment! You will be greeted by friendly core members and leaders who will answer your questions and make you feel at home.
Attending an orientation is a requirement before you can go to higher level events. It's also a great way to get to know your community, make friends, and (bonus!) it's a really great time. Existing members: please come and help welcome the newbies!
6:20 Arrive and mingle
6:30 Orientation with Q&A (come with questions)
7:30 Potluck (bring a dish to share OR a NON-Alcoholic beverage)
8:00 Social Lubrication Games (L2)
9:15 Closing Circle
Orientation is required in order to attend events sponsored by Sex Positive SD. Learn about the sex positive movement, the mission of the group, our website, boundaries, confidentiality, and more. There will be a Q&A, plus a chance for us to learn about you and what you want to get out of the group, and what you might wish to bring to it.
About the Potluck:
Please bring a healthy dish to share - entrees and savory dishes appreciated! No junk food please. Disposable containers are recommended and we ask guests to bring home any leftovers. Our only solution for leftovers is to throw them in the dumpster, but we hate wasting food.
About the Sensual Social & Social Lubrication Games [L2]:
These are activities that help people loosen up and enjoy themselves. You will always have a choice about participation.
What to bring?
~ A healthy dish to share
How to dress?
Street legal, as we will be meeting in a local community area. Feel comfortable, but good grooming and hygiene is important to us. We appreciate when you take the time to look your best.
About the location?Orientation will be held at a coffee shop in the University Heights area. We will send the address before the event but please know that it is in a residential area and street parking only, so plan accordingly for traffic and to allow time to find parking. Once we have established opening circle, no later comers are allowed to enter
